SCAVT offers several opportunities to become a member. Choose the one that's right for you!
| Active Member: Active membership is reserved for technicians who are licensed in the state of SC. Dues: $20 annually. | Associate Member: Associate membership is open to veterinarians and to technicians who have graduated from an AVMA accredited school but who are not licensed in the state of SC. Dues: $15 annually. | Student Member: Student members are those currently enrolled but not yet graduated from an AVMA accredited Veterinary Technology program. Dues: $5 annually. |
-Quarterly Newsletter mailed to each member -Free CE at SCAV's spring and fall small animal academy's, speakers chosen by SCAVT members -Discount on Veterinary Technician magazine, all SCAVT members pay only 20.00 per yearly subscription -Website listing recent news, updates and important information pertaining to veterinary technicians -Members receive acknowledgment during National Vet Tech Week -Promote and maintain communication and cooperation among Licensed Veterinary Technicians, SCAV members, and Veterinary Technician Students and schools throughout the state
