Melissa Entrekin


Melissa graduated from St.Petersburg College in 2003. She has worked  as a Lab Asst for the Vet Tech program at Piedmont Tech, and as an LVT at Upstate Vet & Emergency Clinic. Melissa received her VTS in Emergency & Critical Care in 2012.  

Zohra Badat


Zohra graduated from the Trident Tech Vet Tech program in 2005. She has worked in GP as well as Shelter medicine as and LVT and Manager. She is currently working at TTC in the VT program as an Adjunct instructor. She is also attending Univ. Tenn online for CCRP. 


Jeanna Lineberger

Past President

Jeanne currently lives in Ft Mill. She attended Purdue, and worked in private practice then zoo medicine. 

Christee Williams

Piedmont District Rep

Christee is an 1982 graduate of TriCounty Technical College, where she was also a full time instructor as Coordinator of Instructional Activity for 26 years and now an adjunct for the last 5 years. She has a great love of clinical pathology and surgery. She lives in Pendleton with her family, her Golden Retriever Riley, 3 cats, and her horses.

Sarah Schwenzer


Sarah has always had a passion for zoo medicine and has been employed by Greenville Zoo for 7.5 yrs.  One of her favorite parts of her job is using operant conditioning for voluntary medical behaviors in zoo animals. She is also a member of SC Veterinary Emergency Corps.

Marlee Poole

Midlands District Rep

Marlee attended Piedmont Tech, graduating class of 2016. LVT with experience in shelter and exotic medicine, currently at the University of South Carolina, Department of Research. Loves spending time with her dog, cats, chickens, and ducks! 

Nicole Haynes

Piedmont District Rep

Nicole was a 2015 honors graduate of Penn Foster College. BS in Business Administration. Employed since 2006 with Banfield Pet Hospital in Spartanburg and current Shift Lead. Low Stress Handling Certified Silver and Fear Free Certified. Lover of cats, Boston Terriers, and tortoises. Career aspirations include getting a BS in Veterinary Technology and obtaining a VTS in Small Animal Internal Medicine.
