Guillermo Rimoldi, DVM, DACVP
After obtaining his DVM degree from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA), Argentina in 1994, Dr. Rimoldi has worked in diagnostic pathology and research in multiple institutions, including the Faculty of Veterinary Sciences, UBA, Argentina; Faculty of Medicine, UBA, Argentina; the Georg August University in Göttingen, Germany; and the Atomic Energy National Commission at the Ezeiza Atomic Center, in Argentina. He also worked on private practice as a diagnostic veterinary pathologist. In 2010 he joined the California Animal Health and Food Safety laboratory system, University of California, Davis, where he worked at the Tulare and Davis branches, as a pathology resident first and as a hired veterinary pathologist after obtaining his board certification by the American College of veterinary Pathologists in 2014. In 2016 he was hired by Clemson University as the veterinary anatomic pathologist and histopathology department head at the Clemson Veterinary Diagnostic Center in Columbia, SC. He has also published more than 20 articles on international peer reviewed journals and has given oral presentations multiple times at the ACVP and AAVLD meetings. He is also an active member of different organizations devoted to promote the knowledge of veterinary pathology, such as the Latin America Comparative Pathology Group / Charles Louis Davis and Samuel Wesley Thompson Foundation.
