Kristen Chapman, DVM,

with IDEXX

Kristen graduated from Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2000.  She practiced small animal emergency medicine in Dallas Texas for 5 years and then moved to Houston and spent 8 years at a small animal practice near NASA’s Johnson Space Center.  In June 2013 she entered the pharmaceutical industry as a veterinarian with Novartis Animal Health and then Elanco Animal Health. In July 2016 she joined the Professional Services Veterinary team at IDEXX supporting the Southeast Region.  In addition to her role to provide technical support to these areas, Dr. Chapman is a liaison with the veterinary school at the University of Georgia. She also volunteers for Canine Assistants – a fantastic service dog organization in Milton.

Although a native of Texas, she loves Georgia’s beautiful outdoors and enjoys hiking, kayaking, nature photography and spending time with her husband, kids and pets.

She fully embraces preventive care and client education with the knowledge that it is the key to long and healthy lives for furry family members.
